Security forces shoot down 15 terrorists at Kurram

KURRAM: At least15 terrorists were killed by the armed forces early Thursday morning as they fought back an attack on a military check post near the Pak-Afghan border early Thursday morning.

The check post at Mingrao was attacked by nearly 50 militants.Security forces were able to shoot dead 15 of them, while others fled.

Security forces have begun a search operation in the area following the attack.

Lower Kurram is a sensitive area and it borders with Afghanistan.
