Saudi committee to sight moon on Sept 1

The court also asked the masses to help the authorities in sighting the moon in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's top court on Thursday ordered the country's moon-sighting committee to hold a session on September 1 in relation to sighting the Zil-hajj moon, Arab media reported.

According to a statement, the court directed the committee to hold the session after Maghrib prayers on Thursday, September 1.

The court also asked the general masses to help the authorities in sighting the moon and report it to the committee or courts.
