HUNZA: By-elections were held onGBLA-6 on Saturday.
According to unofficial results PML-N candidate Shah Saleem Khan was successful with 4,679 votes. Independent candidate Obaidullah Baig bagged 4,025 votes for second place.
Polls wereheld after the PML-N candidate from this constituency was made governor. His seat was left vacant in 2015.Polling in this area has been postponed thrice.
Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan, the previous winner of this seat had nominated his son Shah Saleem Khan for the by-elections.
Polling began at 9am and continued till 5pm today.
