ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines successfully has brought home 14,000 pilgrims completing over thirty percent of its post-Hajj operation on Tuesday.

PIA plans on bringing home approximately 52,000 pilgrims during the post-Hajj operation according to the airline’s spokesman Danyal Gilani.

Gilani told Geo.tv that the remaining 79flights for the planned 123-flight post-Hajj operation will be completed by the 16th of October.

During the pre-Hajj operation PIA transported over 51,000pilgrims fromIslamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sukkur, Multan and Rahimyarkhan operating 268 flights, Gilani added.
