Dar refutes foreign currency account rumours as baseless propaganda

ISLAMABAD: Refuting rumours circulating in some sections in Pakistan regarding freezing of foreign currency accounts, Federal Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Thursday said the government has no plans of freezing said accounts.

Senator Dar added that the rumours were baseless propaganda and stressed that no such proposal was even under consideration nor was the possibility discussed.
