PIA clarifies position on Director HR removal

KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Saturday issued a clarification rejecting rumours circulating regarding the removal of the airline’s Director HR Mr. Rasheed Ahmed.

PIA’s spokesman Danyal Gilani issued a statement dismissing rumours that Mr.Ahmedwas removed from his post due to issues with his credentials or due to resistance towards right-sizing in the airline. He made it clear that Mr. Rasheed Ahmed has been replaced by another officer and such transfers are routine.

Gilani added that Mr. Ahmedis presently being considered for another assignment.
