Army retaliates to militant firing from across border, says ISPR

The ISPR said the wounded soldier was shifted through a helicopter to Wana for providing him medical attention

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Firing from across the border by militants on Sunday injured one Pakistani soldier, said the ISPR.

According to Pakistan Army’s media cell, Pakistan Army is befittingly responding to the militant firing and also targeted terrorist sanctuaries.

The ISPR said the wounded soldier was shifted through a helicopter to Wana for providing him medical attention.

Earlier on Saturday,Pakistan army troops recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition from North Waziristan.

Troops raided Shirrani, Datta khel, North Wazirastan Agency in another leg of operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.

Pak-Afghan border has also been shut down in wake of the recent terrorist attacks in the country.
