RAWALPINDI: Two Pakistani civilians were injured in unprovoked Indian firing across the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Indian Army resorted to unprovoked fire in the LoC's Rawlakot Sector deliberately targeting civil population, the ISPR said in a statement.

The wounded civilians were identified as 16-year-old Mohammad Adnan and 47-year-old Mohammad Rasheed, who were evacuated to a hospital.

Meanwhile, Pakistani troops engaged Indian posts in retaliation for the targetting of civilian population, the ISPR added.
