KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has issued non-bailable warrants Tuesday for three fugitives accused in the case of martyred Geo News reporter Wali Khan Babar, Geo News reported. The court has summoned a report on July 26.

The special anti-terrorism court provided the copy of witnesses’ statements to the arrested accused Mohammed Shahrukh, Faisal alias Nafsiyati, Mohammed Shakeel and Syed Tahir Naveed alias Polka so that they could be charged in the next proceeding.

The investigating officer in the case Noor Sabir submitted a report to the court which stated that due to the situation in Karachi, arrest warrants could not be issued for accused Liaqat Ali, Faisal Mohammed alias Mota and S.M. Kamran and more time should be given.
