Director General review performance of Rescue1122

RAWALPINDI: The Director General of Punjab Emergency Service Dr. Rizwan Naseer has carried out a performance review of Rescue 1122 in 35 districts of province to ensure uniform standards of service in all districts.

According to data, 1122 has rescued over 34171 victims of emergencies while carrying out 33588 rescue operations during the month of July, 2011 in 36 cities of Punjab, while maintaining its average response time of seven minutes.

The Director General appealed to the citizens to take extra carewhile driving in wind, rain and bad weather and to dial immediately1122 in case of any emergency because only timely call especially incase of a fire emergency is extremely essential for restricting firefrom getting out of control.
