Fish netting rights to be auctioned on 15th

MULTAN: The Punjab fisheries department is going to auction fish netting rights for catching fish from rivers on August 15 in Lahore.

Local fisheries department officials said rights to catch fish from rivers flowing through South Punjab including Indus, Chenab, Head works, and barrages and big canals would also be put on auction at office of DG fisheries.

The districts of South Punjab where the successful bidders would be able to catch fish included Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Rajanpur, Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan,Lodhran, Vehari, Sahiwal and Pakpattan.
