Karachi violence: PM directs LEAs to ensure peace

KARACHI: Prime Minister, Yousuf Raza Gilani ordered that immediate action be taken against extremists in Karachi and security be provided to traders, Geo News reported

A meeting was held at the Chief Minister House to discuss the law and order situation in Karachi The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah, Home Minister Sindh, high ranking Rangers, police and administration officials.

The Prime Minister was given a detailed briefing over the law and order situation in Karachi over the last few months.

According to sources Prime Minister Gilani said the federal government would provide complete support for attaining peace in Karachi.
