SANAA: Troops loyal to Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh opened fire on pro-democracy protesters in Sanaa on Sunday, killing four and wounding many more, medics said.

"We have four dead protesters and many others wounded," said Tarek Noman, a doctor at the makeshift field hospital set up by the protesters near their base in the capital's Change Square.
