Police seize narcotics, weapons from SHO’s residence in Mirpurkhas

• ANF seizes narcotics and weapons from the residence of a station house officer in Mirpurkhas.
  
• About 500 kilogrammes of chars, opium, imported liquor, one rifle, two TT pistols, and two Kalashnikovs were seized by the police.

SUKKUR: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized narcotics and weapons from a station house officer's residence in Mirpurkhas Wednesday0.

Opium, about 500kg of chars, imported liquor, one rifle, two TT pistols, and two Kalashnikovs were seized by the police officials when the ANF team conducted a raid on the house of SHO Mirwah Gorchani Kanwar Singh.

After the raid, the Mirpurkhas deputy inspector-general suspended the SHO.

The police official reportedly managed to flee his house during the raid.
