Don’t know who wants me to meet Zardari: Nawaz

KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif denied any reports regarding meeting with President Zardari with reference to Aslam Raisani’s statement, Geo News reported Monday.

Nawaz said that he is unaware who wanted him to meet the president and that he has not come to Karachi after consulting President Zardari.

While talking to media at Karachi airport, the PML-N chief told that his party is in favor of resuming Bahawalpur’s old status and forming Hazara province.

He said if the present government is sincere with democracy, then it should announce fresh elections soon.
