ISLAMABAD: Law Minister Muala Bux Chandio has denied resigning from his post. Speaking to the media Chandio said he not submitted his resignation nor was he asked to resign.

“I met the president, but my resignation was not discussed.”

The law minister further said that Prime Minister Gilani would be appearing before the Supreme Court on January 19 and that there was no clash between the federation and army.

On Tuesday reports from the federal capital stated that Chandio had resigned as the law minister and Babar Awan would be his replacement.
