HYDERABAD: Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Asif Ali Memon has asked the officers concerned to prepare a foolproof security plan in order to avert any untoward incident during the Eid Milad-un-Nabi
(Peace be Upon Him) in Hyderabad district.

The Deputy Commissioner issued these directives while presiding over a meeting here at the office of Administrator Hyderabad on Saturday evening which reviewed the security as well as other arrangements on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace be Upon Him).

He informed that the administration has decided to impose Section 144 Cr. P.C. on the day of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) in order to avert any kind of threat of terrorism during Milad processions and congregations.

Besides, he informed that closed circuit cameras will be installed in sensitive parts of the district and also along the route of the main Milad procession.

The citizens will be allowed to enter the route of the main Milad procession after passing the "walk through gates" while the procession
will be duly escorted by the police and rangers.

The DC asked the management of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company
to avoid load shedding, particularly in areas where Milad congregations
are being organised.

He also directed the Managing Director Water and Sanitation Agency to ensure proper supply of water to the residents in all areas. He also asked the Municipal Commissioner to ensure cleanliness, carpeting of roads particularly the route of main Milad procession and also install streetlights so that the people do not have any inconvenience during Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
