Several militant hideouts destroyed in Bajaur

PESHAWAR: Security forces have destroyed several militant hideouts in the Bajaur Agency and there are also reports that several militants were killed during clashes.

According to sources, after an attack launched from Afghanistan, security forces and the National Lashkar continued to clash with militants for the fifth consecutive day. Forces continue to pound militant hideouts via gunship helicopters and heavy artillery.

Five security personnel have also been injured during the clashes. Meanwhile the National Lashkar has established check-posts in areas affected by the clashes.
