Bid to smuggle heroin foiled

RAWALPINDI: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) foiled a bid to smuggle seven kilograms of heroin to Dubai and arrested a lady smuggler from Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Thursday.

According to ANF officials, during search of a baggage of Yasmin Akhtar resident of District Dudaiyl of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, boarding Flight No. Ek-615 for Duabi, recovered seven kilogram of heroin from her custody.

It should be mentioned that the recovered drug valued worth millions of rupee in international market.

The ANF has registered a case and started investigation.
