NOWSHERA: Five persons including three policemen and two prisoners were injured when a blast occurred near a police vehicle at Shakai Interchange in Nowshera Monday morning, Geo News reported.
According to police, a police mobile was carrying prisoners to court when a remote controlled bomb, targeting the vehicle, exploded at Shakai Interchange near motorway.
As a result of explosion, three policemen were injured while two prisoners also received injuries. The injured were shifted to the hospital where they were given the first aid.
The prisoners were transferred to a nearby police station, sources told.
