Factory catches fire in Karachi

KARACHI: A private chemical factory in Gul Bai caught fire on Saturday night, Geo News reported.

According to rescue sources, more than 10 fire tenders are endeavoring to douse the blaze.

Fire-fighting officials declared the fire as a third degree inferno.

Electricity to the surrounding localities has been suspended after the factory caught fire.

The fire was not brought under controlled and a part of the five-storey was collapsed after 3:30 hours. A huge quantity of chemical is said to be laying inside the factory building.

No loss of life has been reported in the incident.
