Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ralph Fiennes have joined the ensemble cast of the 28 Years Later trilogy.

The talented trio are reportedly booked for the upcoming sequel of the beloved zombie hit, as per Deadline.

22 years after the original film, the anticipated Sci-Fi horror is set to grace the silver screens again, along with a star-studded addition of Aaron, who was recently seen in Bullet Train, Jodie of Free Guy and Ralph who played the widely popular Lord Voldemort of the Harry Potter franchise.

The 2002 movie, led by Cillian Murphy’s Jim features a virus outbreak that turns everyone in London into brain-dead killers and focuses on a group of survivors on their journey to safety.

Fans are now eager to witness how the story will unfold after the franchise dropped a second instalment, 28 Week Later led by Jeremy Renner in 2007.

Now, while the third film will also mark the return of the original director and writer duo of Danny Boyle and Alex Garland in their respective seats, it is still unknown if the Oppenheimer actor will reprise his role in the Sci-Fi film, despite the fact that his involvement as executive producer was previously confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.
