Tom Cruise's daughter faces a hidden rule by Katie Holmes

Tom Cruise’s former wife Katie Holmes reportedly does not speak much about her daughter with the actor.

While reports have emerged that the Mission: Impossible alum is reportedly “desperate” to reunite with his daughter, Suri, who has just turned 18 years old, an earlier interview of his former wife Katie has resurfaced.

In this chat on Today Show, the Batman Begins actress weighed in on her relationship with daughter, who was then 9 years old.

Revealing her daughter’s nature, she shared in 2015, "My little one is very, very generous and very sensitive."

"So, she’s always [saying], ‘Mom, let’s give my old toys to people who need it,’” Katie gushed.

However, she also stated a parenting rule and added, “So we are always doing that. I don't over-gift. I don't inundate my child with a lot of things."

It is pertinent to mention here that Tom Cruise reportedly feels “guilt” for parting ways with his daughter and thinks that she is “missing so much of her life.”

For the unfamiliar, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wed in 2006. However, the duo ended their marriage in 2012.
