Billie Eilish reportedly found herself in the process of releasing her new album.

Recently, What Was I Made For? hitmaker sat down for a confessional with Rolling Stone for their cover story.

During this chat, the songstress weighed in on her upcoming album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which is slated to be released on 17th May 2024.

Speaking of her new work, Billie shared that it felt like “the best” period of her life and disclosed, "I feel like this album is me."

"It’s not a character. It feels like the When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? version of me. It feels like my youth and who I was as a kid," she further elaborated.

"This whole process has felt like I’m coming back to the girl that I was. I’ve been grieving her,” she also confessed.

Billie Eilish also continued that she has “been looking for her in everything, and it’s almost like she got drowned by the world and the media.”

In conclusion, the Grammy-winning singer admitted, “I don’t remember when she went away."
