The marketing power of Taylor Swift knows no bounds as her recent album promotion clip showed her in a local brand which helped skyrocket its sales in no time.

Its founder Cassey Ho shared her initial reaction as the head of Popflex she said, "I wish I had screamed or jumped. I was numb," noting, "That was my reaction. Couldn't move, couldn't think. Nonfunctional."

The surprise, the entrepreneur told the Business Insider, came into her knowledge through her husband.

"I was so ugly with my hair in the bowl and a towel over my head, but my husband, Sam, kept calling. He was like, 'You need to check your messages.'"

The clip in question was from a promotional clip of the Grammy winner about her latest album The Tortured Poets of Department that saw her in the brand's Skort while playing pickleball.

Following the clip, the brand says the Lilac shade was sold out in minutes that Taylor wore while in the preorders 7,000 skorts have been sold.

"The Taylor Effect is like nothing else in the entire world. It's insane," the founder continued.

"We had our biggest sales day of the year and our second biggest sales day ever. This is also the first time we've taken preorders. We normally don't do that, but people really want the original."
