Rihanna teases 'real simple' outfit for upcoming Met Gala

Rihanna might just have hinted at what she plans on wearing for the upcoming Met Gala, following the saying, “less is more.”

In an exclusive conversation with Extra, during an event where she celebrated the launch of her brand-new beauty product, Fenty Beauty Soft’lit Foundation in Los Angeles, California, on April 26, she discussed how she would dress.

"I'm actually keeping it real simple this year. ... It's gonna come to what my makeup and what my hair is going to do," Rihanna told the outlet.

As she explained how she has two gowns selected to wear at the event, the Diamonds singer described her outfits as, "Very simple-ish ... compared to everything I have done."

"I am showing up for dinner," she further teased.

Rihanna’s idea of what to wear at this year’s Met Gala comes after the 2024 theme was announced back in November 2023 as, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.

According to PEOPLE magazine, the upcoming Costume Institute exhibit would display around 250 items that hold significance in history dating back to 400 years.
