Anne Hathaway reveals 'The Idea of You' chemistry inspiration

Anne Hathaway recently talked about her character in new movie, The Idea of You.

Spilling the beans on the steamy scenes, Anne told the outlet, "I was inspired by [Robinne Lee’s novel on which the film is based] in terms of … what’s the polite way of saying…Intimate acts!"

She went on to address, "In the book, Robinne describes intimate acts with the most unbelievable energy.”

“In their first physical sexual connection, Hayes brings Solène to o****** while [she is fully] clothed," The Devil Wears Prada star added.

In conclusion of this discussion, the Love and Other Drugs actress remarked, "That became our North Star in terms of expressing cinematic s** in a way that makes it about her pleasure, while also making the point that a huge part of pleasure is giving someone else pleasure."

This comes after Nicholas Galitzine recently opened up about starring with the Eileen alum.

In aa candid chat with British Vogue, the Purple Hearts alum shared that with Anne “there was this immediate connection.”

He also continued, “We’re in a project that requires chemistry. If you don’t have it, it just feels clunky, it won’t work.”
