Selena Gomez the founder of Rare Beauty is voicing her concerns for mental health at the Rare Beauty Summit.

During the 3rd annual Rare Beauty Mental Health Summit on May 1 in New York City, the 31-year-old star hosted the event and took to Instagram to share some glimpses of the event.

Gomez's caption reads, “Our 3rd annual rarebeauty Mental Health Summit has me leaving inspired by the next generation, filled with so much hope, and grateful to each of you for being on this meaningful journey with us.”

“Mental health means so much to me and I’m honored we get to share this mission with the world together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to use their voice for good! (two heart emojis),” her caption continued.

In the first photo of the carousel, the Calm Down singer posed in front of a wall decorated with facts, one of which read that $7 million was raised for the company in 2023 alone.

Moreover, she also posted a video in the series of her speaking with U.S. Surgeon General Vice Admiral Vivek Murthy, who also shared a social media recap of the event.

As per Murthy’s post, they “discussed the power of social connection and how communities, like the one Selena has created with Rare Beauty and the Rare Impact Fund, are paving the way for self-acceptance, support, and healing.”

Additionally, Gomez’s boyfriend, Benny Blanco, who confirmed their relationship in December 2023, also showed support in her comment section.

“I'm so proud of u bb,” Blanco commented on Selena’s post before adding a second note, “u inspire me.”

For those unversed, in 2020 the Disney alum launched the first Rare Impact Fund to raise $100 million over the next 10 years to increase access to mental health resources.
