Britney Spear’s ex-husband Sam Asghari ‘feels terrible’ after her recent incident at Chateau Marmont involving paramedics and police officers.

On early Thursday morning, the ...Baby One More Timesinger was seen leaving the iconic hotel barefoot with a pillow at hand, sparking concerns about her well-being.

According to a source privy to US Weekly, Spears’ ex-husband also felt concerned and ‘feels terrible’ for his former lover.

“Sam will always have a soft spot for Britney and will always be protective over her”, the insider claimed, “Sam is a helper and was there for her in her hardest times. He hopes she is OK”.

Dubbing the incident as ‘heartbreaking’ and ‘definitely worrisome’, the Black Monday actor wishes the 42-year-old “the best and would be there for her if she needed him”.

“Sam has been down this road with Britney before and knows how she is. [He] feels terrible if she is not surrounded by positive people in her life”, the source continued.

Nonetheless, the exes reportedly “don't communicate anymore” following their divorce, which was finalized on the same day of the troubling event.
