Teachers protest against non-availability of textbooks

QUETTA: Government Teachers Association (GTA) on Monday organized a protest rally against the non-availability of textbooks, delay in the appointment of headmasters and lack of other facilities in schools in the Chaman Qilla Abdullah district.

The participants after marching on main thoroughfares of the district,
staged a sit-in outside the offices of Deputy Commissioner and District Education Officer.

They deplored that despite the passage of one month, textbooks were not supplied to the schools.

They urged the interim government to take notice and resolve the issue. (APP)
