ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power, Khawaja Asif said on Friday that Pakistan was facing a water shortage.

During a news conference, Asif warned that the country may face a famine in the next 10-15 years if appropriate measures were not taken.

The federal minister added that the government would ensure the implementation of the water accord between Pakistan and India.
