ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Opposition Leader, Khursheed Shah said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif can be asked to resign if election rigging was proven.

During a news conference Shah said the PPP would support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s appointment as the Electoral Reforms Committee Chairman.

Shah asked: "Why do we always think that the army is playing a role?"
