QUETTA: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief, Sirajul Haq met with Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Chief, Talal Bugti here on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, the JI chief said Talal Bugti was a patriot who believed in the constitution.
Sirajul Haq told reports that promises made to people in Balochistan were not fulfilled and their problems could not be resolved with force. “Instead of pushing Baloch people against the wall, they should be brought close to the heart,” Haq said.
Talal Bugti said Iran, Afghanistan, India, NATO and the EU were after Pakistan. He called on retired generals and political forces to look after matters. Bugti added there was artificial leadership in Balochistan and the situation in the province would not improve until real leadership was in power.
