ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Saturday directed the Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh not to cut down development funds for Balochistan.
Dr Hafeez Shaikh called on the PM here at Prime Minister House.
The Prime Minister appreciated the Finance Minister for releasing requisite funds for the Kachi Canal Project and expressed confidence that it would be completed by the end of this year.
The project would irrigate 55000 acres of land.
