Several areas of Karachi receive rain

KARACHI: After rain lashed several areas of the country, it finally turned towards the metropolis on Tuesday.

Several areas of Karachi including Defence, Clifton, Korangi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, F.B. Area, Shara-e-Faisal and Karsaz experienced heavy showers.

Traffic jams were caused in main arteries of the city following the rain and water started to accumulate on the roads.

According to KESC spokesman, the power supplier’s teams are dispersed throughout the city under the rain emergency plan and only ten feeders have tripped.
