KARACHI: Karachi Bar Association (KBA) annual elections-2013 scheduled to be held on Saturday (today) has been postponed due to tense situation prevailing in the city, Geo news reported.
KBA president Mahmoodul Hassan said that the Association's annual elections have been deferred over tense situation in the city and for the security of the lawyers. Besides, the voters could not reach the city court for lack of transports in the city.
Noor Naz Agha Advocate and Naeem Quraishi advocate vieing for the president slot.
Chief election commission, District & Session Judge Ahmad Saba said that polling for KBA elections-2013 would be held on December 19.
