WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Washington Sherry Rehman hailed Senator John Kerry’s nomination for US Secretary of State by President Obama, and dubbed him Islamabad’s ‘good friend’, Geo News reported Saturday.
In a statement, she said that Mr Kerry had made invaluable efforts for his country and was aware of strategic significance of democratically and economically strong and stable Pakistan.
“We look forward to work with him for stronger ties between the US and Pakistan,” Sherry Rehman said.
