KARACHI: At least 11 people have been killed in the ongoing wave of targeted killings in different parts of Karachi, home to at lest 20 million people and commercial hub of the nation, Geo News reported.
Unknown assailants sprayed two people with bullets near Parking Plaza in Preedy Street area. The deceased were identified as Rozi Khan,22 and Naimatullah,35.
A man was gunned down near Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) while a body was found in Shersha locality. The deceased was subjected to severe torture before being killed.
Two people one of them identified as Ghulam Haider were shot dead in Orangi Town 5. The slain were affiliated with the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ).
Another body was recovered from Old Haji Camp. The identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained. Orangzeb, a son of a senior police officer, was gunned down in Defense Phase-V area while on his way home back after attending Valeema ceremony of his sister.
Earlier a body was found Gulshan-e-Iqbal’s block 6. Identity of the slain was yet to be ascertained.
