Aslam Bhootani's petition discharged

QUETTA: Balochistan High Court (BHC) Monday disposed off the petition of Aslam Bhootani seeking stay order against the holding of election of the Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Geo News reported.

While hearing the petition of former Speaker Aslam Bhootani here, BHC Justice Jamal Mandokhel expressed his annoyance over the hurriedly held election of the Speaker Balochistan Assembly and said that they should have waited for the court decision.

Addressing Balochistan Advocate General, Justice Jamal Mandokyhel said that it seems that you knew some order of the court was about to come and added that the respect of the court demanded to have waited for the court decision.

At this juncture Balochistan AG assured no row between the assembly and the court, whatever the decision given would be implemented.

The court hearing arguments from both sides went on break for a while and later disposed off the petition of Aslam Bhootani.
