Peasant’s eyes gouged out over old enmity in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH: In what appeared to be an act of barbarism, eyes of a peasant were gouged out over old enmity in Jatoi Tehseel of Muzaffargarh district, Geo News reported on Thursday.

Police said that a case had been registered against eight people while three accused had also been arrested.

According to police, Ghulam Fareed and his seven accomplices entered Bilal’s house around 10 in the night on Wednesday and took him away.

The police said that the accused subjected Bilal to severe torture and gouged his eyes out in Basti Kotla area of Jatoi.

They said that the injured was shifted to Multan’s Nishtar Hospital for treatment. The police said the incident was result of an old enmity.
