Measles claim 26 lives in two weeks

SUKKUR: Two more children died of measles in Sindh brining the death toll to 26 in two weeks, Geo News reported.

According to health department sources, measles have claimed lives of 26 children in a short period of two weeks.

A total of 80 children have died due to the outbreak of measles in Sukkur, Kandhkot-Kashmore, Shikarpur and Jacobabad.

The sources said 15 died in Shikarpur, 12 in Jacobabad while 28 in Sukkur.

The measles death toll has not been confirmed by the government level.
