FM Khar hopes LoC incidents will not affect Pak-India dialogue

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar hoped Thursday that the recent incidents on the Line of Control (LoC) would not have an effect on the Pakistan-India dialogue process.

Addressing a news conference, Khar said Pakistan had contacted the UN military observer group for India and Pakistan to conduct an inquiry into the LoC ceasefire violations.

Replying to a question about the Most Favoured Nation status for India, Khar said this is not an exceptional case and its status would be the same as that of 180 other countries.
