Political arm-twisting unacceptable: Fazl

PESHAWAR: Chief of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman, says changes in the election process that too on the behest of “one man” are unacceptable, Geo News reported.

“The political thuggery, which have now taken the center-stage in the country, will not be allowed under any circumstances.”

He expressed these views while talking to media here on Sunday.

Referring to Tehrik Minhaj-ul-Quran leader, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, he said the politics of arm-twisting had no place in country and those who wanted to take a shot at altering the electoral process would never get away with it.
