Karachi voters’ verification to end today

KARACHI: The process of voters’ verification in all the five districts of the mega-metropolis city here will end today, Geo News reported.

Election Commission in a handout issued here said that the areas where the verification could not be done, citizens and stakeholders should approach the District Election Commission.

Provincial Election Commissioner handout further said that over 0.7 million voters in all the five districts of Karachi could not be verified, the names of 1600 voters were deleted from the electoral lists, while in Malir, 1295 persons’ names were deleted, as they were dead by now.
