Petition filed praying to put 423 criminal Sindh police officer on ECL

KARACHI: A petition has been filed against the 423 Sindh police officers involved in crimes in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry on Saturday here, Geo News reported.

It was revealed in member inspection team’s report submitted in SC Karachi Registry during hearing of Karachi law and order case that 423 Sindh police officers are involved in major crimes and cases against them registered.

The petitioner has made plea that since the criminal police officers are still working at different posts, for which, the Sindh chief secretary and IG are responsible, action be taken against them, while the 423 police officers’ names be put on exit control list.
