Distribution of amended nomination forms underway

ISLAMABAD: Following completion of the printing of the amended nomination forms, they are being dispatched across the country.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has called a meeting with the political leaders on Monday.

Sources said that ECP letter to the political leaders inviting them for a meeting on Monday have already been dispatched.

It may be recalled that earlier members of the parliamentary committee wanted to meet the ECP as regards to their reservations over nomination form, but it could not be possible as the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) was reportedly indisposed, while the other ECP members took the stance that they could meet the political leaders only in the presence of CEC.

Meanwhile, ECP went on printing of the nomination papers, which on completion are in the process of being dispatched across the country.
