ECP seeks details of election expenses from successful candidates

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has sought details of the election expenditures from all the successful candidates till May 20, Geo News reported Friday.

According to a notification issued by the ECP, all the successful candidates of May 11 elections have to submit the details of the election expenditures by May 20.

The ECP has resorted to withhold the notification of those successful candidates who will fail to produce the details of their election expenses.

The successful independent candidates will be given three days time to show their affiliation with any political party and the time will begin soon after the issuance of notification.
