Karachi: Wife, paramour arrested in husband’s murder

KARACHI: Police Monday arrested a wife and her paramour along with the weapon allegedly used in the murder of the husband in the vicinity of airport police station, Geo News reported.

Police said that the husband had died of a gunshot mysteriously near Star Gate Stop here last week, when he along with his wife riding a motorcycle was on his way. The wife had lodged an FIR in the name of unidentified persons.

Later, the police started investigation by questioning the deceased’s wife Ammara Nasir, which revealed that the wife with her cousin had murdered the husband, while the police also recovered the pistol from the scene of incident on which finger prints of Ammara was found.

Following the investigation, police arrested the wife Ammara and her paramour Mohsin along with the weapon used in the murder of the husband.
