15 security men injured, 2 attackers killed in Kharotabad operation

QUETTA: Two alleged attackers were killed and fifteen security personnel were injured when police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) launched an operation early Thursday in Kharotabad area, Geo News reported.

According to DIG Ahmed Mubeen, police, the FC, police and other law enforcement agencies launched a search operation in Kharotabad area in the wee hours. During the search, the culprits present in the area opened fire on the security personnel, leaving 15 cops injured.

DIG Ahmed Mubeen told that during the exchange of fire, two culprits blew themselves up with explosives.

The area was declared clear after the law enforcement agencies completed the search operation.

Rescue sources told that bodies of a child and two women were also recovered from a house.
