MANGORA: A number of riverside hotels/restaurants were swept away as floodwaters of the swollen Swat River jumped the banks to the peril of local populace, Geo News reported Friday.
According to details, the floodwater overflowed at the Fiza Ghat washing away most of the tourist points. The rising tide also entered in couple of houses.
The local administration had already issued evacuation warnings.
On the other hand, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) the Kalam-Mangora road, which was damaged owing to flood, has been fixed.
